Swim Suit Try On and other information
Wednesday, October 7, 2015 4:30-5:30pm Poco Loco will be at the High School for Swim Suit Try-on and purchase. Other swim items will also be available for purchase.
Parents and other family members: We need all of the volunteers and participation to make our meet on October 17, 2015 run smoothly. Please sign up to work. The sign-up sheet is posted on the table in the pool area.

Important information
If you have not signed up to receive Remind Text alerts, please do so. Please text (317) 399-1771 and in the message portion please type @jayu and hit send.
Practice for October 5 will be 5:30pm-7:00pm. Not all swimmers will stay until 7:00pm. Parents need to be prepared to begin picking up swimmers at 6:15pm. Coaches will begin to determine what practice group each swimmer belongs during the first week of practice. Practice on October 6 and 8 will be the same 5:30pm-7:00pm, with swimmers being released beginning at 6:15pm. The "Blue" Team only will practice on October 7 from 5:30-6:30pm.
Team suits are not mandatory, but they do look nice at the meets. The suits are a nice, durable competitive suit. On Wednesday, October 7th Poco Loco swim shop will be at JCHS to try on suits. They will have other items and equipment available. The female team suit will be $68.20 plus tax and the male suits will be $44.20 plus tax.
If you are new to the team, you must have the USA registration form with the $61 fee on file before the swimmer can begin practice. All new swimmers to the club must provide a copy of the swimmer's birth certificate.
The JAY Invite is Saturday, October 17. All swimmers are expected to participate and all parents are expected to volunteer to work. If you have grandparents or older siblings willing to work, it would be appreciated. It takes many people to have a successful meet. This meet is a fundraiser for our club and helps keep costs down.
Each family will be asked to donate a minimum of $10 for concession stand fees. The board has decided to use the money collected to purchased the needed items instead of asking for donations for the concession stand and hospitality room. This will enable the board to have all needed items prior to the morning of the meet.
If you would like to be a meet sponsor or know of a business or organization that would like to sponsor our meet, please let us know.

Parent meeting for the 2015-2016 season
A parent meeting for all new and returning swimmers will be held on Monday, September 28 at 6:00pm in the Commons Area at Jay County High School. At least one parent from each swim family should plan to attend this meeting.

New meet information for Yorktown and Fishers are now available. Yorktown sign up is due December 11 and Fishers is Due December 15. Please talk to the coaches if you have any questions.

Swimsuit try-on is Thursday, October 2 from 4:30-5:30pm. Female suits will be $68.20 and male suits will be $44.20 plus tax. The suits are not mandatory. This is a high quality suit and should last for several years. There will also be other items for sale....practice suits, fins, goggles, buoys, etc. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted. Make sure to label all items!
If you have used equipment or items to sale, please see Christy Shawver. Please have a price already on the items.
Please remember to pick up your child on time. The coaches are very busy and other places they need to be after practice.

Informational Parent Meeting
Monday, September 22 at 6:15pm is the Informational Parent Meeting for all new and veteran parents. The meeting will be held at Jay County High School. If you would like more information about the Jay Swim Club, this is a great meeting to attend.
